The Fellowship of Reconciliation is among the many allies for the United States tour of the Caravan for Peace with Justice and Dignity founded by the Mexican Poet and Peace Leader Javier Sicilia as part of a crusade against the drug war. The gathering of hundreds of caravaners and supporters at Riverside Church featured testimonials, a welcome from FOR’s Exec. Director Mark C. Johnson (with Spanish translator) and gratitude from Javier Sicilia which was followed by a crosstown march to St. Cecelia’s for a candlelight vigil.
